Curt and Diana otherwise known as Handy Andy & Blossom
started clowning around 1991. We attended a children's home
fund raiser with friends. We watched the children as they interacted
with the clowns and noticed the special relationship they developed with them. That was all it took to realize we needed to learn and
study to become the best clowns we could. That is what we did, we studied with some of the best clowns around with included attending clown schools and camps throughout the United States. It was not
long before we attended a clown camp and learned about caring clowns and we knew that is what we wanted to do. Now we love to teach the art of clowning to others and that is how Clown Gadget Store developed. It developed as a need to help others like ourselves find caring clown props that could be easily cleaned and use in the
hospital setting. The store has expanded greatly and includes
makeup, props, illusions and much more for teaching and for clowns
to use. We currently are employed to work 1-3 days a week in a local hospital as Clown Doctors and nurse.

As gospel clowns we were appointed to the mission service corp in Feb. 2002 to serve in Innovative Evangelism Special Ministries of the North American Baptist Missions. What this means is that our family has made a commitment to share the Gospel of Christ with the use
of special ministries. We have been blessed to share the gospel with use of clowning with many denominations from Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Non-Denomination, and many others. We travel throught the United States teaching and doing programs.

We are currently working with local schools and other organizations to develop programs and to teach safety, drug abuse, and illusions., and basic skills like balancing, juggling, and plate spinning.We use the innovative creative use of bubbles, illusions, clowning and puppetry to teach and build self estem.
